Tokoname Kyusu Black Swirl Teapot

This simple black Tokoname teapot is great for brewing ultra fine teas. Unique to this design is the "swing" type of stainless steel infuser screen. The infuser screen is curved and is suspended off of the floor of the teapot, allowing the wet leaves to drain completely without remaining wet on the floor of the teapot in between subsequent infusions. This authentic handcrafted Japanese teapot is highly recommended for someone starting there green tea journey.

Preparing Japanese Clay Pot For Brewing.

1. Rinse the tea pot with normal water.

2. Put the lid on, and then rinse the tea pot with hot water.

3. Open the lid, and pour the hot water into the tea pot and thoroughly rinse it.

4. The tea pot is ready for use.
