Gun Powder

Our Gunpowder green tea is a form of Chinese green tea in which each leaf has been hand-rolled into small round pellets.  It is believed that Gunpowder green tea derived its name from the resemblance to gunpowder pellets used for cannons.  The tight roll helps Gunpowder Tea to remain fresher for longer than other teas.  This tea has a sweet and slightly smokey character and mixes well with peppermint to produce a popular 'Moroccan Mint' tea.
